Getting Better at Fortnite

Are you having a hard time with your Fortnite sessions? Are you dying early & frequently? Well, this famous zombie game is a hard nut to crack.

Even the most experienced gamers have noted to face a tough time defending them in the game. But not to fret-the post below offers some cool tricks that will help you when you are asking how to get better at Fortnite.

Don’t jump from flying bus immediately

A common trend among Fortnite players is to plunge from the bus to save themselves from enemies. But that’s not exactly a wise thing to do.

Never jump out from a bus as the game starts. Wait till the last second. This way, when you will land onto the Fortnite Island, there will be fewer enemy gamers around you. It will ease your challenge to some extent from the first round only.

Not only, if you are one of the last ones to get out of the bus, but you will also find ample time to find your weapons & protection. Besides, if you are lucky enough to be utterly alone after you land, you can utilize the precious time to hone up your skills in building and shooting.

Aim for roofs while landing

Try to land on roofs of buildings while landing. You can use your ax here to chop your way through roofs that will take you to the upper floor or an attic. Loots are mostly hidden in attics, so you are most likely to find some loot the moment you set foot on the attic.

Now, what if you find another player standing near the loot? Well, in that case, ignore the player and rush to weapons closest to you. The other person will invariably rush to kill you. But if you can gather a weapon beforehand, you will be able to put up a strong fight & kill him to death.

Focus on building

Building is one of the most important ways to survive in Fortnite. So, you should build often. You must always throw a ramp or build up a strong wall whenever you get shot. The ramps will also be handy to block shots advancing towards you.

Go for semi-populated areas

If you land up in excessively populated areas, you will have a hard time to gather enough weapons. Thus, it is always smarter to look for semi-populated regions. As these areas are comparatively less frequented, you will have better chances to secure a couple of weapons for yourself and also some shields.

The top semi-populated areas you can land in are Fatal Fields, Pleasant Park, Shifty Shafts, Retail Row, and Greasy Grove.

Avoid the overtly populated regions like Paradise Palms and Tilted Towers.

However, you must also avoid empty regions such as Wailing Woods, Lonely Lodge, Flush Factory, Haunted Hills, Junk Junction, and Leaky Lake. These are very sparsely populated, and you won’t have a chance to fight on and level up in the game.

Practice is important

This point is not exclusive to Fortnite but applies to all games you wish to excel at. You have to allow at least 20-30 minutes each for the game. The Fortnite experts that you look up to for their excellent defense are only at the top due to actual practice. So, learning the tips aren’t enough. You have to be pretty serious about practicing the strategies almost every day.

Now, indeed, these tips won’t turn you into a Fortnite Ninja overnight. But if you follow these tips sincerely and practice religiously, you will be able to land in the top 15 players in a short time.
